Mixed Group - What God's Word Says About Prayer Wednesday 6pm

Adapted from the Self-Confrontation manual, Lesson 3, this booklet is an in‐depth study about prayer. But it is an even more in-depth study about a set of astonishing truths: that God speaks to us through His Word and that He gives us the ability and privilege to speak to Him in return. It is in a workbook format with Scripture passages to look up and questions to answer. Topics in this study include: • God’s character and works as they relate to prayer • Characteristics of prayer - What we are to pray - How we are to pray - When we are to pray - The result of our prayer • Conditions and Further Truths concerning Prayer • Extra resources - Commands regarding prayer - Examples of people who prayed - Scriptures that record Jesus praying - Scriptures that tell what Jesus prayed

Location: Sanctuary Our Men's Group is discussing chapter by chapter, 1st John. John's first epistle teaches that while it is important to recognize the lines between truth and error, it must always be done in a spirit of love.
Women's Group - Esther Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm
